Yoga is a fantastic tool for children to explore their bodies, hearts and minds, release excess energy, and learn how to calm and focus their minds.
It helps children become more relaxed and confident with their bodies and encourages curiosity, enthusiasm and patience.
The word Yoga means ‘union’. Yoga philosophy brings a balance to the self and connects the practitioner with their higher wisdom.
- Yoga improves flexibility and strength.
- Enhances body awareness, self-confidence and concentration.
- Promotes self-expression, imagination and social interaction.
- Improves breath awareness, calming body, mind and spirit.
Yoga is a wonderful way for children to unplug from the electronic age of today, it teaches them how to relax in a playful and fun way.
Story Time Adventure Yoga
2–6yr older kids are welcome too ☺️
These fun and creative classes are designed to stimulate a young child's growing curiosity. Through imaginative story telling we take the children on a yogic adventure. We incorporate playful yoga poses that relate to animals, nature and shapes, animated breathing exercises and imaginative relaxation techniques, to help a young yogi better understand their growing bodies. These classes will enhance language development, motor coordination and play skills, as well as encourage the child to fully participate while utilizing their imaginations to help tell the story.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to take part in these classes which helps kids overcome their shyness and also strengthens the bond between adult and child.
Children are NOT to be dropped off and left unsupervised.
Saturday mornings 10.45am - 11.15am

"If I could give more stars I would! We just did the children's yoga class with my 18 month old and 3 and a half year old and it just blew me away. They loved it! So comfortable, fun and just so well done." Jessica B - Auckland
